Mature, responsible retiree seeking
caretaker position and/or long term house sitting
Hi, I am a 67-year-old retiree now working as a property caretaker or long
term house sitter with multiple years care taking experience.
I am a former business owner, have excellent references, computer
literate and I have management skills. I also have Landscape design and
maintenance experience, can manage schedules, animals, and I am personable
and friendly. Also good with cooking, gardening, cleaning, grounds keeping
and light maintenance. I am well organized, honest and trustworthy with a
strong spiritual center; someone you can depend upon to keep things in order
and as you like them to be.
Fit and in good health, I am an honest and fairly quiet person, spending
my free time reading, hiking, meditating and exploring a bit. I am very
reliable, respectful and caring – in regards to our environment, the property
of others, and of course, animals of all kinds. I have no pets of my own.
My personal habits are few and clean. I am neat and tidy – indoors and out,
don’t track things in,
snoop around or get involved in anything other than my own affairs unless it
relates to property
duties. I do not use drugs, and very rarely have an occasional beer or glass
of wine. I like to get out and walk
daily if the area is suitable and explore a bit of the surrounding area
during time off. Otherwise my focus
is usually on the chores and duties on the property. I own my own car that is reliable, fully
insured and of course, have a driver’s license. I am someone you could leave your home, property and pets in
the care of with ease and confidence.
I am seeking care taking positions with 20hrs/wk. or less of work that
includes housing with utilities, hopefully Internet and salary if warranted
and house sitting jobs that are a month or longer in duration, also including
utilities. I will however, consider all positions and situations so
please contact me if you feel that I am what you are looking for.
Should utilities not be included, please advise me of what the average summer
